Since
1989 we and our dogs have lived in a lovely old half-timbered house
with a big garden and a little
lake,
in the middle of Germany
about 40 km
from the cities of Kassel and Göttingen.
In 1983 we bought our first Gordon Setter
and the Tarock's A-litter-puppies were born 20 years ago.
In spring and autumn we train our dogs
for field trial competitions
in the nearby hunting area
and in summer we combine our holiday
with training and hunting in France.
Our dogs spend their time sleeping,
playing and "bird watching".
Only
Greta
(a Petit Basset Griffon
Vendéen) and
Heidi (English
Cocker Spaniel) are always looking for something to eat.
All Tarock's love water and adore retrieving.
